¿Preguntas de refuerzo con "hay"? ¡Estamos listos!

Hay: preguntas de refuerzo

Hemos aprendido a usar las preguntas de refuerzo con el verbo ser (Lección 24) y con el verbo tener (Lecciones 71, 73). Ahora vamos a aprender a usarlas con there is/there are. Las reglas son siempre las mismas.

Si la frase principal es positiva, añadimos una pregunta de refuerzo negativa:

FRASE POSITIVA + PREGUNTA DE REFUERZO NEGATIVA
THERE IS... , ISN'T THERE?	THERE ARE... , AREN'T THERE?
- There's a lot of noise, isn't there? (= Hay mucho ruido, ¿no hay?) - Hay mucho ruido, ¿verdad?	- There are too many people, aren't there? (= Hay demasiada gente, ¿no hay?) - Hay demasiada gente, ¿verdad?
- There's a train at half past six, isn't there? - Hay un tren a las seis y media, ¿verdad?	- There are a lot of nice hotels, aren't there? - Hay muchos hoteles bonitos, ¿verdad?
- There's a music festival in spring, isn't there? - Hay un festival de música en primavera, ¿no?	- There are a lot of events in summer, aren't there? - Hay muchos eventos en verano, ¿verdad?

Si la frase principal es negativa, añadimos una pregunta de refuerzo positiva:

FRASE NEGATIVA + PREGUNTA DE REFUERZO POSITIVA
THERE ISN'T... , IS THERE?	THERE AREN'T... , ARE THERE?
- There isn't much salt, is there? (= No hay mucha sal, ¿hay?) - No hay mucha sal, ¿verdad?	- There aren't any emails for me, are there? (= No hay correos electrónicos para mí, ¿hay?) - No hay correos electrónicos para mí, ¿verdad?
- There isn't another solution, is there? - No hay otra solución, ¿verdad?	- There aren't any concerts on New Year's Eve, are there? - No hay conciertos en Nochevieja, ¿verdad?
- There isn't any olive oil, is there? - No hay (nada de) aceite de oliva, ¿verdad?	- There aren't any biscuits, are there? - No hay (unas) galletas, ¿verdad?

Algunas observaciones

¿Recuerdas las reglas de entonación (Lecciones 71, 73)? También las usamos con there is/there are:

ENTONACIÓN ASCENDENTE (no sabemos la respuesta)	ENTONACIÓN DESCENDENTE (sabemos la respuesta)
- There's a swimming pool, isn't there? - Hay (una) piscina, ¿verdad? (La voz sube = no lo sabemos, pero esperamos que sí)	- There's a swimming pool, isn't there? - Hay (una) piscina, ¿verdad? (La voz baja = recordamos que hay una, sólo estamos pidiendo confirmación)
